In April 2024, NHL hockey came to Salt Lake City. The team played its first season as the Utah Hockey Club, and in 2025 became the Utah Mammoth, named for the giants whose fossils turn up across the state.
The Tusk Report is an independent fan blog covering the team as it is now: game recaps, roster moves, the prospect pipeline, and whatever the fan base is talking about this week.
