Role
Dylan Guenther shoots from the right side and plays on the line with Logan Cooley and Anders Lee, per TSN, and on the first power-play unit. He opened the season with the game-winner against Chicago, and through 7 games he has 4 goals and 4 assists, 3 of the goals on the power play. He is averaging about 16:38 a night.
Outlook
Guenther went from 27 goals in 2024-25 to 40 in 2025-26, a 73-point season over 79 games. He was drafted ninth overall in 2021 and he is 23. He is signed to a long-term extension.
Our take: the shot volume says 40 goals can repeat. He has 24 shots in seven games, and next to a healthy Cooley we think he is the best finisher on the roster.
